After extensive research and planning, the management at Time Inc.’s Southern Progress Corp. decided fall 2004 was the right time to introduce Cottage Living magazine. Bringing to the shelter category a dose of “comfort, simplicity and style,” Cottage Living launched with a seasoned editorial and publishing team, and ambitious goals for growth. Well-known to Southern Progress for its work with corporate siblings Cooking Light and Sunset, The Rosen Group was engaged to help make “cottage” a household word.
