Zachary Hastings Hooper joined The Rosen Group in 2000 after a tenure in music publicity. While with The Rosen Group he has demonstrated a talent for building broad media awareness for complex, policy- and technology-focused subject matter, as well as providing strategic counsel across the firm's roster.

In recent years he has overseen campaigns for Atlantic Media, the John Templeton Foundation, the Miller-McCune Center for Research, Media and Public Policy, TransUnion's TrueCredit.com, Acorn Systems, and Kiplinger's Personal Finance. In November 2004, Zachary opened the Washington, DC offices of The Rosen Group.

Prior to The Rosen Group, Zachary represented a roster of composers that ran from Pulitzer Prize-winners John Corigliano and David Del Tredici to Downtown mavericks Eve Beglarian and Kitty Brazelton. Zachary started his career with Ziff-Davis Publishing, working in Circulation and then International Marketing. There he learned the fundamentals of magazine marketing while bringing U.S. technology advertisers to 100+ print titles and websites throughout the world.

Passionate about the arts, Zachary's writings on music have appeared in the pages of Chamber Music, Tart and A Perfect Vision magazines, and DanceInsider magazine named him one of New York's top arts publicists. Zachary graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in English Literature and Asian Studies, and remains active in alumni affairs for the school.
