As Executive Vice President, Diane Stefani brings more than two decades of experience in public relations, marketing, events planning, celebrity wrangling and newspaper reporting expertise to The Rosen Group. Diane has brought on clients as diverse as the non-for-profits the James Beard Foundation, The Wholesome Wave Foundation and The One Club, as well as personal finance expert Beth Kobliner, and Family Circle, Fast Company, Parents, Fitness and Inc. magazines. She has overseen special projects for the American Society of Magazine Editor's National Magazine Awards, Barnes & Noble and Harper Perennial Publishing, among others.

Since joining The Rosen Group in 2001, Diane has had the pleasure of working on numerous fundraisers for the James Beard Foundation; helping produce the launch party for the first experiential travel magazine Afar; spearheading events at Elaine's with Senator John McCain and Malcolm Gladwell for Fast Company; covering numerous Inc. 500 conferences and overseeing media overage for the National Magazine Awards and the international One Show awards.

Diane began her career in public relations handling movie premieres for Universal Pictures. She worked on such films as Schindler's List, In the Name of the Father, Reality Bites with Ben Stiller, Flintstones with Rosie O'Donnell and Spike Lee's Crooklyn.

The opportunity to work for one of the most famous brands in the world beckoned when Playboy Enterprises Inc. (PEI) called. Cindy Crawford, Farrah Fawcett, Nancy Sinatra, Patti Davis, James Carville and Katarina Witt were among the scores of celebrities she oversaw events and media tours for. While at PEI as its Director of Communications, Diane also handled the local, national and international publicity campaigns for all of the company's media properties, including the Playboy Publishing Group, The Playboy Foundation, The Playboy Online Group, The Product Marketing Group and the International Playboy Publishing Division.

As Director of Public Relations at the award-winning Yahoo! Internet Life, she orchestrated the coverage of the Online Music Awards featuring David Bowie and Alanis Morrissette, and also headed up its Consumer Magazine PR Division, which included Family PC and Expedia Travels. While co-chairing the Magazine Publishers of America Public Relations committee, Diane wrangled Bill Maher to host his Politically Incorrect show at the American Magazine Conference and orchestrated the much-talked-about presentation by the youth-trend forecasting firm Youth Intelligence.

The former newspaper journalist joined the ranks of PR professionals after almost 15 years of reporting on the entertainment scene for the New York Post. She covered countless Broadway openings and special events, as well as interviewing a wide range of celebrities including Twyla Tharp, Winona Ryder, Kirk Douglas and Anthony Hopkins. During her tenure as a columnist, she reviewed Jay Leno while an unknown stand up at Caroline's Comedy Club and heralded Melissa Etheridge as a female Bruce Springsteen.

The native New Yorker is a past chair of the Magazine Publishers of America Public Relations Committee, the former public relations chair of NYC & Company's Convention, Exhibition, Meeting and Events Committee and currently serves on the advisory board of The Women's Project.
